History

Kory is a second-generation manufacturing entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience in business leadership and corporate account management. Having witnessed both the growth and challenges of the manufacturing industry firsthand through her father’s company, Kiczan Manufacturing. Kory built her career on a deep respect for craftsmanship, accountability, and long-term relationships. Today, those same relationships—spanning more than 40 years of combined industry knowledge—continue to support and strengthen Filly Fabricating, reinforcing the confidence customers place in the company.

Kory works side-by-side with her team on every project, ensuring Filly Fabricating delivers exceptional quality, reliability, and customer care. Known for her professionalism and hands-on leadership style, she has built high-performing teams with diverse talents and perspectives, while maintaining a strong focus on aftermarket support and long-term customer success.

Under Kory’s leadership, Filly Fabricating was deemed an essential manufacturer during the COVID-19 pandemic, supporting the uninterrupted production needs of a key prime contractor. Through that challenging period, the company remained fully operational and retained its workforce—an achievement that speaks to Kory’s determination, credibility, and commitment to both customers and employees.

Beyond the shop floor, Kory is a founding member of the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of Women in Manufacturing and served on its Board of Directors for eight years. She remains actively involved with the organization and is passionate about mentoring and supporting younger generations of women as they begin and grow their careers in manufacturing.

When the production day ends, Kory continues to give back through involvement with several respected charitable organizations, guided by the belief that strong communities are built through both business leadership and meaningful social support.
