Assemblies to Fabrication, We Can Manage It All

Filly Fabricating builds assemblies across multiple industries and when needed can supply the fabricated components that go into them. We can also handle the kitting, warehousing, and other overflow work that goes into the project so your team can focus on what they need to.

Assemblies to Fabrication, We Can Manage It All

Filly Fabricating builds assemblies across multiple industries and when needed can supply the fabricated components that go into them. We can also handle the kitting, warehousing, and other overflow work that goes into the project so your team can focus on what they need to.

Let’s talk about your build

Most of our history is in transit and power distribution, and that experience shows up in every build. But the work itself is not tied to one industry. Wiring, panels, busbars, enclosures and mechanical subassemblies go into products across nearly every part of manufacturing. If your product is built from parts that need to be put together accurately and consistently, it falls within what we do.

We build to your drawings, your bill of materials and your quality standards. We do not design or engineer, and we do not change your product. That boundary is what makes us easy to work with, because you get your part built the way you specified it.

How We Support Manufacturers

Every customer uses us a little differently. Some send us a full build from sourced parts to finished assembly, while others hand off a single step that is slowing down their line. You choose the pieces you need, and we fit our process around yours. We quote to what your needs are.

  • Assembly. Electromechanical, panel, resistor, and other assemblies built to your specification.
  • Fabrication. Machined, punched, laser-cut, welded and powder-coated components supplied with your, which means less vendors to manage.
  • Kitting. Parts packaged in the order your assemblers use them or how you need them, ready for the line.
  • Warehousing. Space to store bulk material, so you can buy in volume without renting floor space.
  • Overflow and rework. Extra capacity when demand spikes, and support for field returns and consignment rework.

Our team has been with us for years, and our quality reputation speaks for itself. When we take on a new program, we start with people who already know how to build to a demanding standard.

Industries That Rely on Assemblies

Assemblies are common to more industries than most people expect. We support manufacturers in:

  • Rail, bus and specialty transit vehicles
  • Power distribution and electrical equipment
  • Data centers and mission-critical facilities
  • Additive manufacturing
  • HVAC and building systems
  • Startups and growing product companies

If your industry is not on this list, ask us. We will look at your drawings and tell you honestly whether it is a fit.

Additive Manufacturing

A printed part is rarely the finished product. Most still need hardware, wiring, fasteners or mating components before they ship, and that assembly work can take time away from running printers. We assemble printed parts into finished units to your specification, supply the conventional fabricated parts that go alongside them, and kit or store components so everything is ready when you need it. That lets your team keep its focus on printing and product development.

Startups and Growing Companies

A finished design is a big step, but building it at volume usually means hiring assemblers, training them and finding floor space. You do not have to take all of that on at once. When your design is ready for production, you can hire out the assembly line to us, and we will build to your specification with an experienced team already in place. As your orders grow, we scale with you, which lets you take on work without staffing up or signing a lease first.

Where Our Experience Runs Deepest

Our longest relationships are with prime contractors in transportation and power distribution, and those programs have shaped how we work. They taught us to meet strict cosmetic standards, document every unit and deliver on schedule for years at a time.

Specialty Transportation

Electromechanical assemblies, subpanels, resistors and busbar work for rail and transit programs.

Power Distribution

Electrical boxes, panel assemblies and insulated busbars for power distribution equipment, including data centers and mission-critical facilities.

Ask Us

If you are not sure whether we can build your part, send us your drawings. We will tell you if we can do it, and if we can’t, we will tell you that too.
